Title: Turn the Page
Rev Dr Johnny Parker is a speaker, leadership consultant, certified professional counselor and executive coach, and author of Renovating Your Marriage Room by Room, Faith Like a Child, Exceptional Living: 31 Exercises for Enriching Your Life, Work and Relationships and is a contributing author to #Critical Issues, #Absolute Answers. He has conducted personal and professional development seminars in corporate and faith-based settings for nearly 25 years.
Dr. Parker has served as life coach for the Washington Redskins and regularly helps professional athletes (NFL, NBA, PGA and WNBA) develop healthy personal lives and strong relationships.
His Turn the Page approach has enhanced organizations such as AOL, Fannie Mae, Colonial Parking, Chick-fil-A, Signature Flight Support, Homeland Security, University of Maryland at Baltimore County, Tuskegee Airmen, Mary Kay, the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. Keynote addresses by Johnny include audiences at Constitution Hall and the Pentagon. He holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Parker is married to his best friend, Lezlyn and they have three sons, JP, Jordan and Joel and an energetic Cocker Spaniel, Jay-Jay. The Parkers reside outside Washington, D.C.
Tuesday, July 4th Keynote
Title: Grounded: The Spiritual Revolution
Dr. Diana Butler Bass is an author, speaker,
and independent scholar specializing in American religion and culture.
She holds a Ph.D. in religious studies from Duke University and is the
author of nine books, including Grounded: Finding God in the World—A
Spiritual Revolution (HarperOne, 2015) and the widely influential
Christianity After Religion: The End of Church and the Birth of a New
Spiritual Awakening (HarperOne, 2012).
Diana regularly speaks at conferences and leads educational events for
religious leaders. She writes at The Huffington Post and The Washington
Post and comments on religion, politics, and culture in the media
including USA TODAY, Time, Newsweek, CBS, CNN, FOX, PBS, and NPR.
Wednesday, July 5th Keynote
Title: Open Palms in a Fisted World
Dr. Allen Walworth is the Executive Vice President of Generis, a consulting firm helping churches accelerate generosity toward God-inspired vision. Allen and his wife, Connie, live in Dallas, Texas, and Naples, Florida (where he serves as a Teaching Pastor for their church during the winter). They have five grown children, and four grandchildren (don’t ask about the grandchildren—trust me, you don’t have the time).
A former pastor (seventeen years, serving three churches) and seminary professor (PhD in New Testament studies), Allen has been a church consultant since 1997, serving over 300 churches, and helping them to raise over $400 million toward the fulfillment of their ministry vision.
When not working with the churches he serves, Allen enjoys golf (even the mediocre rounds), travel, and spending time with his family. (please note Dr Amy Butler, previously announce as keynote, is not able to attend due to unexpected medical concerns )

Title: Annual Tax and Legal Update
Dr.Richard Hammar is an attorney, CPA, and best-selling author specializing in legal and tax issues for churches and clergy. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he is the author of more than 100 books, including Pastor, Church & Law and the annual Church and Clergy Tax Guide. He also writes the Church Law and Tax Report newsletter, has contributed articles to numerous journals and publications, is a frequent speaker at legal and tax conferences, and has taught church law at a number of seminaries. This years presentation is a part of the closing lunch session and will end at 3 pm CDT.
